Vintage Royal Winton Pink Lidded Dish with Rose Finial

$72.00

A charming vintage Royal Winton lidded dish in a rich mottled pink glaze, finished with gold accents and a sculptural rosebud finial.

Made in England by Royal Winton Grimwades, this small covered ceramic dish has a wonderfully decorative form. The square body is softened by gently flared corners and raised feet, while fine gold edging traces the rim, lid and feet. At the centre of the lid, a dimensional rosebud with hand-painted gold detailing creates an especially pretty finishing touch.

The textured pink finish has a softly speckled appearance characteristic of decorative ceramics of the period, contrasting beautifully with the cream interior. Its compact size makes it ideal as a vintage trinket box for jewelry and keepsakes, or simply as a decorative covered dish for a vanity, dresser or collected display.

The underside carries the Royal Winton Grimwades, Made in England backstamp.

Details:

  • Era: Circa 1930s–1950s

  • Material: Glazed ceramic with gold detailing

  • Condition: Good vintage condition with visible age-related wear to the gold decoration, particularly on the rose finial and edges; minor surface wear consistent with age

  • Dimensions: Approx. 5.5 in L × 4.25 in W × 2.5 in H
